It's always interesting to listen to an intelligent person, no matter what they talk about.

I live in Texas but Dunster to me is much more than an interesting RUclips tour. I am a direct descendant of William II Lord Dunster 1090-1155. It indicates to me one of the great features of Time Team as they transport people around the world to their origins.

I Love all these form the Dig Village, and to hear and see all this explained :-)

Really gonna Miss listening to Mick, and all the history he had in his head, his calming gentle demeanor, and the way he was always just laid back, when everyone else was going bonkers..

Stewart Ainsworth is important in any and all the time team digs, cause of his vision in finding and see things that others do not, by looking at the natural areas, the maps and even the air shots, and how he connects it all is amazing.

I so enjoy listening to Stewart. Look forward to more..

Stewart is amazing at how he looks at the landscapes and just the surroundings of a town, and finds so much, with so little to go on..

I Loved Mick Aston, and I could listen to his history for hours, and just drink it all in. in MY Option, I always though that HE was the most important part of Time Team. He brought so much to the team. He is missed.

Could anyone turn up & watch. Or were these people behind the team invited?

A wonderful man that lives, breaths, sleeps archeology! I would have LOVED to learn and listen to him respectfully of his knowledge of all the wonderful things he has accomplished in his life. I will miss your smile and dimples and patience with all. Dig on Mick <3.

The advice to do your regressive map analysis with two glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon at hand resembles that to solve your cryptic crossword late at night, before you go to bed. That explains the Hapsburg funeral I saw on RUclips, which ended with the coffin being carried from the cathedral to a monastery where the whole dynasty was entombed.

Who else had a hard time focusing on Rob due to the hilarious, though adorable, dog sleeping in the background? I just kept wondering if she was still alive, omgosh. So funny!

Only just discovered this. I'd love to spend an afternoon in a cafe or pub just talking to Stewart about history and archaeology. I'd be spellbound by what he could tell about where we were and what it all meant.

Went for a walk today somewhere I’d never been before and was trying to find the General Roy monument but failed. Probably should have used a better map 😆

The grassy bit of my back garden is probably no bigger than maybe three or four test pits. I would love having a few of the ex time teamers over to dig it up.

Stewart had the most interesting job on TT. No geofizz, no digger, just his maps, old documents and a good eye.

Must be difficult for Stewart to go anywhere with all that he can see.

How many times have I watched Time Team, and seen the total failure of the archaeologists and geophysics to get to the bottom of things, and thought "Steward will sort it out!" And he always did. "What is actually happening is X, Y and Z!" The most underrated of the Time Team IMHO.

You should do more of these walks. They would make a good series.

I need more of Stewart doing walk about and telling me history!
